Product Manager (Consumer Application)

About the role
We’re working with a fast-growing fintech business at the forefront of next-generation blockchain technology. They’re expanding the team and looking for a Product Manager to take end-to-end ownership, delivery, and optimization of their consumer-facing products.
This role bridges strategy and execution, turning high-level product direction into clear roadmaps, prioritized backlogs, and delivered features that improve user experience, drive growth, and align with business goals. You’ll work closely with engineering, operations, and business teams to make sure consumer products are user-centric, scalable, commercially viable, and delivered efficiently.
It’s a hands-on Product Manager role with strong Product Owner responsibilities: owning the consumer product roadmap, driving feature delivery and prioritization, ensuring strong UX and product-market fit, and supporting commercial and growth objectives.
What you’ll do
Product ownership and delivery (core focus)
• Own and manage the consumer applications product backlog
• Translate strategy into clear user stories and requirements
• Prioritize features based on business value, user impact, and effort
• Work closely with engineering to ensure timely, high-quality delivery
• Take part in Agile ceremonies (planning, stand-ups, retrospectives)
• Ensure releases are tested, validated, and aligned to requirements
Roadmap and execution
• Define and maintain the consumer product roadmap
• Align it with business priorities and strategic direction
• Continuously reassess priorities based on user feedback, data insights, and business needs
• Keep the roadmap visible across stakeholders
Customer and user experience
• Analyze user behaviour, feedback, and support insights
• Identify friction in user journeys and onboarding flows
• Drive improvements in UX/UI and overall experience
• Work closely with design and support to enhance usability
Market and product insights
• Support ongoing market and competitor analysis
• Identify trends and opportunities to improve positioning
• Help refine product direction, feature sets, and differentiation
Stakeholder management
• Collaborate across engineering, operations, risk and compliance, and business development
• Keep product delivery aligned to business goals
• Communicate progress, risks, and priorities clearly
Data-driven decisions
• Track key product metrics (onboarding success, usage, drop-offs)
• Use data to inform prioritization, validate decisions, and drive continuous improvement
Commercial and growth, plus compliance
• Support monetization strategies, positioning, and go-to-market
• Ensure the product supports acquisition, retention, and revenue growth
• Make sure features align with regulatory requirements and internal compliance, working closely with risk and compliance through design and release
What you’ll bring
• 3–6 years in Product Management or Product Ownership
• Relevant tertiary qualification (preferred)
• Strong experience in Agile product delivery, with the ability to translate strategy into execution
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience working with cross-functional teams
Nice to have
• Experience in fintech or digital platforms
• Exposure to consumer-facing applications
• Understanding of KYC, onboarding flows, or payments ecosystems
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and Miro
