AI Implementation Engineer

We’re working with an established technology company that builds AI solutions for its clients, and they’re looking for an AI Implementation Engineer to bridge technical development and client delivery.

This suits someone with a software-development background who’s excited by AI, automation and solving real business problems. You’ll work directly with clients to understand their needs, scope AI opportunities, and design, build and deploy AI-powered solutions that deliver measurable value.

What you’ll do
• Run client meetings and workshops to understand business challenges and spot AI opportunities
• Gather and document requirements, and translate them into practical AI and automation solutions
• Scope AI projects — technical requirements, timelines and success metrics
• Design, build, configure and deploy AI-powered agents and automation, integrating with clients’ existing systems
• Test, monitor and optimise solutions for reliability, scalability and performance, and troubleshoot issues
• Build proof-of-concepts, present them to stakeholders, and help convert them into commercial engagements
• Track solution performance and adoption, and report on the ROI achieved

What you’ll bring
• A degree, diploma or certification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or similar
• At least 1 year of software development or technical implementation experience
• A strong understanding of software-development principles and system integrations
• A genuine interest in AI, machine learning, generative AI and automation
• Experience working directly with clients or stakeholders
• Excellent problem-solving, communication and presentation skills

Advantageous
• Experience with AI platforms (e.g. OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, Copilot or similar)
• Workflow-automation and low-code/no-code tools, REST APIs, integrations and cloud
• Understanding of prompt engineering, AI agents and large language models (LLMs)
• Previous consulting, implementation or solutions-engineering experience
