About the role
We’re working with a business looking for an AI Implementation Engineer to bridge the gap between technical development and client delivery. This suits someone with a software development background who’s passionate about AI, automation, and solving real-world business challenges.
You’ll work closely with clients to understand their requirements, scope AI opportunities, design and deploy AI-powered solutions, and make sure measurable business value is achieved. The right person combines strong technical capability with excellent communication and stakeholder management.

What you’ll do
Client engagement and solution discovery
• Run client meetings and workshops to understand business challenges and identify AI opportunities
• Gather, document, and analyze business requirements
• Translate business needs into practical AI and automation solutions
• Act as a trusted advisor throughout the project lifecycle

AI solution design and implementation
• Scope AI projects and define technical requirements, timelines, and success metrics
• Design, build, configure, and deploy AI-powered agents and automation solutions
• Integrate AI tools and platforms with existing client systems and workflows
• Test, monitor, and optimize solutions for reliability, scalability, and performance
• Troubleshoot implementation issues and provide ongoing technical support where needed

Commercial and project delivery
• Develop proof of concepts to demonstrate business value and feasibility
• Present POCs and proposed solutions to stakeholders and decision-makers
• Support the conversion of successful POCs into commercial engagements
• Manage project deliverables, timelines, and client expectations
• Deliver projects aligned to agreed business outcomes

Performance and continuous improvement
• Track and report on solution performance and adoption
• Measure and communicate ROI achieved through AI implementations
• Identify opportunities to enhance and expand deployed solutions
• Stay current with emerging AI technologies, tools, and trends

What you’ll bring
• A degree, diploma, or certification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
• At least 1 year of software development or technical implementation experience
• Strong understanding of software development principles and system integrations
• A real interest in AI, Machine Learning, Generative AI, and automation
• Experience working directly with clients or stakeholders
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and presentation abilities
• Able to manage multiple projects and priorities at once

Nice to have
• Experience with AI platforms such as OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, or Copilot
• Exposure to workflow automation and low-code/no-code tools
• Experience with APIs, integrations, and cloud-based solutions
• Understanding of prompt engineering, AI agents, and large language models
• Previous consulting, implementation, or solutions engineering experience
