We’re working with an established consulting engineering firm, and they’re looking for an Electrical Engineer / Technologist specialising in building services to join their Cape Town team.
You’ll support the lead engineer and electrical design team on building-services projects — designing electrical systems, managing and supervising projects on site, and seeing work through from inception to handover.
What you’ll do
• Design electrical building-services systems for multi-disciplinary construction projects
• Manage and supervise building-services projects, including contract supervision on site
• Write technical reports and compile specifications and bills of quantities
• Prepare contract documentation
• Liaise with clients, colleagues and other professionals from inception through to handover
What you’ll bring
• A BEng / BSc Eng or BTech in Electrical Engineering
• Around 3–5 years’ post-graduate experience in building services
• Fluent in both English and Afrikaans — you’ll work bilingually with clients and colleagues
• ECSA registration, or working towards it, is preferred
• Previous consulting-engineering experience is an advantage
• Strong written and verbal communication

Office-based in Cape Town.
