About the role
We’re working with a growing retail business that needs an experienced IT Applications Support Engineer to join a small, supportive team. It’s a high-volume, fast-paced environment, so they’re after someone who already knows applications support well, not someone starting out.
There’s real room to grow here, and after probation you’ll be considered for late shift, which comes with an added allowance. The team provides all the equipment you’ll need, and they do a lot of training on site, so the right attitude and a willingness to learn count for a lot.
What you’ll do
• Provide applications support in a busy, high-volume environment
• Work as part of a close-knit support team, helping keep systems running smoothly
• Travel occasionally when new stores open
What you’ll bring
• At least 3 years in an applications support role (this isn’t a junior position)
• Fluent English, both spoken and written
• Working Afrikaans is ideal: enough to understand and communicate, though full fluency isn’t essential
• Your own driver’s license and vehicle
• A great attitude and a genuine willingness to learn
• Retail experience is a nice to have, not a deal breaker
