We’re working with an established retail group, and they’re looking for an SAP EWM Functional Consultant to configure, test and support their SAP Extended Warehouse Management environment.
You’ll implement and customise EWM solutions, lead requirements workshops, design warehouse processes, and provide third-level support and post-go-live troubleshooting.
What you’ll do
• Implement, configure and customise SAP EWM solutions to business requirements
• Lead workshops to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications
• Design and document EWM processes — inbound/outbound, internal warehouse movements and physical inventory
• Integrate SAP EWM with other SAP systems (e.g. ERP and Transportation Management)
• Set up EWM master data — warehouse structure, storage types and bins, warehouse tasks and resource management
• Run system testing, performance tuning and post-go-live support, and take part in planning and scoping
What you’ll bring
• 5+ years’ SAP EWM design and configuration experience
• Expert functional knowledge of SAP EWM and integration with other SAP modules (MM, master data)
• Knowledge of retail SAP architecture, implementation and operations, and retail merchandising processes
• 2+ years’ Agile experience (e.g. sprint planning, stand-ups)
• ITIL 3 knowledge, SAP ABAP debugging, and strong communication and stakeholder skills
Advantageous
• A 3-year IT-related degree
• TOGAF, COBIT or Prince II certifications
Working model
Hybrid in Johannesburg — two to three days a week in the office.
