We’re working with an established retail group, and they’re looking for an SAP FICO Functional Consultant to configure, test and support their SAP Finance & Controlling environment.
You’ll design, configure and implement FICO solutions, troubleshoot and resolve technical problems, write functional and test specifications, and support users on third-level incidents — leading and contributing to FICO projects and their integration with other SAP modules.
What you’ll do
• Design, configure and implement SAP FICO solutions — General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Asset Accounting, Cost Centre Accounting and Profitability Analysis
• Configure and test SAP (and third-party) FICO functions, and troubleshoot technical problems
• Write functional and test specifications, and training and testing material
• Provide third-level support and resolve business-as-usual issues
• Lead and contribute to FICO projects, ensuring successful deployment and integration with other SAP modules
What you’ll bring
• 3+ years’ SAP design and configuration experience
• Functional knowledge of SAP FICO (GL, AR, AP, FA, PCA, CCA and new GL), including interfaces, data migration and integration
• Knowledge of SAP FICO integration with other modules (MM, SD) and with HCM
• 2+ years’ Agile experience
• ITIL 3 certification (required)
• Strong problem-solving, analytical and client-facing skills
Advantageous
• A 3-year IT-related degree (Finance, Accounting, Business or related)
• SAP FICO certification, TOGAF, COBIT or Prince II
• Knowledge of retail industry models
Working model
Hybrid in Johannesburg — two to three days a week in the office.
