We’re working with an established retail group, and they’re looking for an SAP SD Functional Consultant to configure, test and support their SAP Sales & Distribution environment.
You’ll own SD configuration and solution design, troubleshoot and resolve technical problems, write functional and test specifications, and support users on third-level incidents — as well as designing and implementing solutions for new change requests and projects.
What you’ll do
• Configure and test SAP SD functions and module solutions
• Write functional and test specifications, plus training and testing material
• Provide third-level user support and resolve business-as-usual issues
• Design and implement solutions from business requirements (change requests and projects)
What you’ll bring
• 5+ years’ SAP SD design and configuration experience (post-certification)
• SAP SD certification
• Expert functional knowledge of SAP SD (pricing, credit management, product proposal, consignments), including interfaces, data migration and integration with other SAP modules (WM, FICO, master data) and POS systems
• Knowledge of retail SAP architecture, implementation and operations, and retail merchandising processes
• 2+ years’ Agile experience (e.g. sprint planning, stand-ups)
• ITIL 3 certification (required)
• SAP ABAP debugging, and strong stakeholder management and communication
Advantageous
• A 3-year IT-related degree
• TOGAF, COBIT or Prince II certifications
Working model
Hybrid in Johannesburg — two to three days a week in the office.
