Senior Full Stack Developer
Location: Cape Town or Johannesburg (hybrid, mostly remote with occasional in-office days)

About the role
We’re working with an established organization looking for a seasoned Senior Full Stack Developer with strong C#, React, and front-end design experience, plus the ability to guide and mentor a small development team. You’ll bring solid cloud, Agile, and modern DevOps skills to deliver robust, efficient software.
What you’ll do
• Lead a small team of software developers
• Plan, design, and build new feature functionality to product owner and business analyst specs
• Collaborate with other developers to design and implement features
• Maintain existing production code, including bug fixing and enhancements
• Work closely with business analysts, developers, the project manager, testers, and occasionally end-users
• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, reliable code
• Follow development policies and procedures, and help define and refine them
• Ensure strong performance, quality, and data integrity across applications
• Integrate APIs to other platforms, such as messaging services
• Coordinate with the project manager and line manager on current tasks
• Make sure all code checked into source control compiles and is properly tested
What you’ll bring
• Matric / Grade 12
• A Computer Science or related degree (or strong certificates plus great experience if no formal qualification)
• A Microsoft or other cloud-related certification
• 5+ years of solid coding experience in C# and front-end technologies like React
• Excellent knowledge of the latest .NET frameworks
• Proficiency in Visual Studio or a similar IDE
• Strong front-end development and design with UI and JS frameworks like Bootstrap and React
• Working knowledge of Azure, AWS, or GCP
• Working knowledge of Agile (Scrum or Kanban)
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Azure DevOps
• Working knowledge of .NET MVC and Web API
• Working knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and Git (GitHub)
• Some SQL knowledge is a nice to have
• Able to handle a fast-paced, high-pressure, constantly changing environment
• Strong teamwork, knowledge sharing, and a professional approach to time, cost, quality, and deadlines
