We’re working with an established SaaS company with a mature full-stack codebase, and they’re looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer (back-end-leaning) with strong computer-science fundamentals to work across back-end, front-end, database and product workflows.
What you’ll do
• Build and maintain full-stack product features
• Design clean back-end APIs, domain models, database migrations and background jobs
• Develop polished React interfaces using existing shared components
• Debug complex issues across front-end, back-end, workers and data flows
• Write focused tests and review code for correctness, maintainability and production impact
• Improve architecture incrementally, without unnecessary rewrites
What you’ll bring
• 6+ years’ professional software-engineering experience
• Strong Python back-end experience, ideally with FastAPI or async frameworks
• Strong TypeScript and React
• Solid PostgreSQL — schema design, migrations and performance
• Experience with async or event-driven systems, and good judgement in large existing codebases
• Clear written communication and careful code-review habits
• A CS degree strongly preferred, or equivalent senior-level experience with strong CS fundamentals
Advantageous
• Domain-driven design or event-sourcing experience
• SQLAlchemy async, Alembic, Redux, Kubernetes or Playwright
• Experience in SaaS, scheduling, billing, healthcare or workflow automation

Remote, within South Africa.
