We’re working with an established supply chain technology company that delivers solutions to emerging markets across the globe, and they’re looking for a Test Analyst to build robust automated test suites with a focus on quality, reliability and modern AI tooling.
What you’ll do
• Design, write and maintain well-structured, reliable automated tests in Playwright, using industry best practices
• Use AI tools to accelerate test creation, maintenance and coverage analysis
• Contribute to continuous improvement of the products and processes
• Work closely with testers, developers and internal teams — account managers, project managers, business and system analysts
What you’ll bring
• At least 2 years’ experience in software testing or test automation
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright (and TypeScript/JavaScript)
• Practical experience using AI tools to generate, review or maintain automated tests
• A national diploma or higher in IT, Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
Advantageous
• QMetry or another test-case management tool
• UI and API test automation, SQL for test data (PostgreSQL), and CI/CD integration of test suites
• Automotive or logistics industry experience, large-scale SaaS, and Agile (Scrum)
Working model
Hybrid — one day a week in the office, based in Gqeberha or Johannesburg (fully remote may be considered for the right person).
