The Role:
- Collaborate with Sales, Account Management, and Service Delivery teams to create solutions that meet customers’ needs.
- Develop technical solutions to address customer requirements, balancing business returns and client value.
- Contribute to the development, analysis, and review of Cloud Products and Services roadmaps to ensure alignment with client needs.
- Take charge of the technical relationship with customers, offering prescriptive guidance on security, cost, performance, reliability, operational efficiency, and best-practice architectures.
- Create pre-sales architecture specific to Cloud products, within approved operational limits and product specifications.
- Deliver technical presentations and demonstrations of Cloud Products and Services to prospective and existing clients.
- Lead the design and construction of custom elements of the solution to meet client business requirements.
- Provide pre-sales technical support and expertise, examining client infrastructure, architecture, system capabilities, and business challenges.
- Take ownership of the proposed Cloud solution and transition the implementation to the Delivery team.
- Collaborate with Cloud Products and Alliances teams to utilise partnerships for complex solutions outside of the organisation’s expertise.
- Interface with customers to discuss their cloud planning activities and influence their cloud strategy, enabling their digital transformation.
- Work with Cloud Enterprise Architect to design the best solutions for maximum customer value.
- Contribute to account management plans and go-to-market plays for all clients across segments and regions.
- Work with sales specialists and account managers to identify, develop, and close important sales opportunities.
- Collaborate with sales specialists and account managers to understand customers’ business challenges and propose outcomes that lead to professional services engagement.
- Build and maintain continuous technical relationships with corporate customers and partners to ensure high satisfaction levels.
- Develop high-quality technical responses to RFPs/RFQs/RFIs that meet customer requirements in a timely manner and provide support in presenting solutions.
- Provide technical input on pricing for tenders and proposals.
- Maintain visibility of forecasting and sales pipeline to influence potential deals.
Experience:
- Holds a minimum of a 3-year diploma, preferably in an ICT discipline.
- Fluent in the language of the country and has basic command of English
- Has at least 2 years of experience in a business solutions pre-sales environment, working with clients.
- Possesses a thorough understanding of cloud computing products and services.
- Has experience in providing telecom solutions to senior stakeholders in large enterprise client accounts.
- Has worked in a medium-sized organisation.
