The Role:
- Provide subject matter inputs towards the development of the Technology Services Engineering Departmental strategy.
- Strategy development for Database Engineering and Operations.
- Identify avenues for improvement within the organisations database infrastructure.
- Build automated database products.
- Work with clients.
- Provide overall direction on the functionality of database products and services.
- Database delivery.
- Systems management.
- Operational management and service delivery.
- Financial budgeting, control, and reporting.
- People and stakeholder management.
Experience:
- Relevant tertiary qualification.
- 10 years or more role experience.
- Enterprise IT infrastructure, including Architecture, Design, Systems Management and Service Delivery.
- Database team lead experience.
- AWS Database Certification beneficial.
- Microsoft SQL, Oracle and similar.
- DevOps team lead experience.
