Salesforce Engineer

The Company:

A South African based travel and tourism platform is looking for a Salesforce Engineer. The organisation is a conservation and sustainable tourism first platform, servicing thousands of customers a year. The Role:

• Lead end to to end process for Salesforce software development and system administration.
• Keep up to date with changes to the Salesforce platform.
• Code review.
• Work with stakeholders to perform UAT.
• Sign off on feature implementation.
• Work with team leads to collect feedback and to form priorities.
• Use feedback to form a product roadmap for the Salesforce platform.
• Create technical design specifications, and a deployment guide, and release notes and user guide documents for in-house developed features or Salesforce application features.
• Maintain a governance model and change management process for Salesforce.

Experience:

• Relevant qualification.
• 3 years or more programming experience.
• 2 years or more Salesforce experience.
• Experience with the SDLC.
• 2 years or more experience working as part of a web-based application development team.
• 1 year or more deployment pipeline experience.
• Experience working with complex product development lifecycles.
• Beneficial:
  • Integrating external applications with Salesforce.
  • Source/version control tools.
  • Clickup or JIRA.
  • Travel industry experience.
